OUR PURPOSE
As a registered student organization at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, we provide college-level riders the opportunity to continue their passion for horses while developing their skills through competition, horsemanship, and teamwork
LESSONS
Our weekly riding lessons are designed to help riders improve and develop their skills in a supportive team environment. Riders are grouped with others of similar ability so they can learn, grow, and build confidence together.
We offer instruction in both Hunt Seat and Western riding. Lessons are taught on lesson horses provided by our experienced coaches, allowing riders to develop their abilities and learn to work with a variety of horses.
SHOWS
Our team competes through the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA), traveling together with our members and coaches to weekend shows hosted by universities throughout the Midwest.
At each show, riders compete on horses provided by the host school, allowing them to demonstrate their skills while adapting to a variety of horses and riding styles. We compete against other colleges and universities in our region.
COMMUNITY
Our board hosts team bonding events and fundraising activities throughout the year to help members connect, make friends, and build a strong community with others who share a passion for horses and riding.
Beyond the arena, our team creates lasting friendships through shared experiences, support, and a welcoming environment for riders of all backgrounds and skill levels.
